On November 2, 2015, Snoopy was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, becoming the second Peanuts-related figure to be inducted with a star, after Schulz. Since his debut on October 4, 1950, Snoopy has become one of the most recognizable and iconic characters in the comic strip and is considered more famous than Charlie Brown in some countries. Did you know Snoopy has 7 siblings? In the comic strip, Snoopy has seven brothers and sisters. Five appeared at various times in the strip: four brothers, Spike, Andy, Marbles, and Olaf; and one sister, Belle. the other 2 Molly and Rover, appeared in 1991. Did you know Snoopy became the official mascot of aerospace safety? Snoopy became the official mascot of aerospace safety, testing and the rebuilding of the Apollo Program. The Apollo 10 lunar module was named Snoopy and the command module Charlie Brown. While not included in the official mission logo, Charlie Brown and Snoopy became semi-official mascots for the mission Did you know?! Nine films! The franchise titled A Nightmare on Elm Street, consists of American supernatural slasher-horror installments, including a television series, novels, comic books, and various other media.

Did you know Freddy Krueger also appeared in the horror spoof film Stan Helsing making? Taking the tally of films to 10 film!

Did you know that the basis for the original Nightmare on Elm Street has been said to have been inspired by several newspaper articles printed in the LA Times in the 1970s?

On a group of Khmer refugees, who, after fleeing to America from Cambodia, were suffering disturbing nightmares after which they refused to sleep. Some of the men died in their sleep soon after. Medical authorities called the phenomenon "Asian Death Syndrome". The condition itself afflicted only men, is believed to be sudden unexplained death syndrome and/or Brugada syndrome.

Did you know (By Craven's account), his own adolescent experiences led to the naming of Fred Krueger?  He had been bullied at school by a child named Fred Krueger, and named his villain accordingly.
